International Women’s Day

For International Women’s Day, we celebrate the power and promise of women

Young women are full of power and promise. But many are being held back by inequality, sexist attitudes – and right now, by the struggle to get by from day to day. Imagine what more young women could achieve with all their potential.

You can support a young woman you know who is on her way to achieving great things. As an employer. As a colleague. As a friend. As a parent. As a partner.

Everyone can play a part this International Women’s Day. What are you going to do?

What is International Women’s Day?

International Women’s Day (8 March) is a global day recognising the achievements of women and calling for women’s equality. The theme of International Women’s Day 2023 is #EmbraceEquity.

It is important to get involved with Young Women’s Trust because they do care, they listen to and address real concerns that young women are affected by. They commit to doing whatever they possibly can. They involve young women directly rather than just speaking on their behalf. They make good things happen for young women.
