International Women’s Day

Get involved on 8 March

Join us on 8 March to celebrate International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women.

Celebrate by campaigning or fundraising with us to stand in solidarity with young women.

Campaign with us

1.5 million young women have lost income since the start of the pandemic with many claiming benefits for the first time. The £20 uplift in Universal Credit has been a lifeline, but those receiving Carer’s Allowance and other support didn’t benefit.

Now, young women are calling on the government to permanently increase Universal Credit, not just for 6 months, and to increase Carer’s Allowance permanently too.

Will you support them and sign the petition now?

Fundraise with us

This International Women’s Day you can help us raise funds to create real change for young women. We have put together a few ideas for you to take action and fundraise in the lead-up to Monday 8 March.
