International Women’s Day

Celebrate the power and promise of women this International Women’s Day.

This International Women’s Day stand together with young women who are facing illegal and unfair treatment in the workplace. From sexual harassment and discrimination to being paid less than the minimum wage, young women are at the mercy of rogue employers and the current employment laws are failing to protect them. But you can help!

We need you to add your voice to our mission to create an equal world of work. Help us ramp up the volume this International Women’s Day and beyond.

Together we can enable stronger action against employers who break the law, and ensure that young women speaking out don’t suffer as a consequence.

Make the world of work work for young women.

What is International Women’s Day?

International Women’s Day (8 March) is a global day recognising the achievements of women and calling for women’s equality.

It is important to get involved with Young Women’s Trust because they do care, they listen to and address real concerns that young women are affected by. They commit to doing whatever they possibly can. They involve young women directly rather than just speaking on their behalf. They make good things happen for young women.
