Our annual report summarises our work, achievements and finances over the last financial year.
Annual Report 2024 – 2025
Here is a summary of our impact in 2024-5:
Practical support when it matters
- We supported 2,594 young women with one-to-one coaching. Over half of the young women who received coaching said their income then increased. 83% said it made them feel less anxious or stressed.
- Our volunteers provided personalised job application and CV feedback for 1,795 young women. 84% of the young women felt as a result our support, their CV would help them get the job they wanted.
- We ran two pilot cycles of our new Workshop Series – an online programme where young women facing similar work-related challenges connect with and support each other.
Championing young women’s voices
- We ran a General Election campaign supporting young women to raise the workplace issues that matter to them with parties and candidates. More than 1300 young women and allies signed our manifesto, and our supporters sent letters to 889 candidates across 148 constituencies.
- Young women from our group of 50 ambassadors, 24 campaign project group members, and 16 peer researchers, shared their experiences with MPs and decision-makers including the Low Pay Commission, former Women & Equalities Minister Anneliese Dodds, and several other MPs.
- We published two major pieces of research, which together were mentioned nearly 100 times in the media:
- A World Not Designed for Us, our state of the nation survey comparing the economic experiences of young women and young men.
- Living Precariously, looking at young women’s experiences of insecure work.
