Young Women’s Trust, the charity campaigning for an equal world of work, has responded to the Government's priorities set out in the King's Speech.

The charity Young Women’s Trust celebrates the announcement that the Employment Rights Bill has received Royal Assent and will now become law. The legislation that will come as part of this bill will grant new, and much needed, rights to workers across the country. 

As the government’s Employment Rights Bill receives its third reading in the House of Lords, the charity Young Women’s Trust are urging peers to do the right thing and pass it in full to ensure the commitment to transforming the lives of thousands of workers does not fall short of its promise.
