Jump online and join us at one of our monthly YWTea virtual events. They are free, online and open to all young woman aged 18 to 30, living in England and Wales.

How to make LinkedIn work for you

Join us for a YWTea all about LinkedIn with our Work It Out coach Janine and Venn Group Recruitment Agency. This YWTea will look at how to use LinkedIn to make connections and search and apply for jobs. This interactive webinar will walk you through the creation of your LinkedIn profile with top tips on how to make it stand out to employers.

No advance knowledge of LinkedIn is necessary, although you might like to create a LinkedIn account in advance if you don’t have one already.

How to kick start your career change

Feeling stuck in your current job? Considering a career change but unsure where to start? Join our Work It Out coach Janine as we give you insights and practical tips to help you figure out the next steps in your career change journey. This interactive YWTea is for young women who want to work out their next career move, stepping into work that’s right for them.

Money workshop with The Money Charity

Young Women’s Trust have teamed up with The Money Charity to run a 2-hour money workshop. We will cover the following topics:

  • Understanding the financial challenges women face throughout their lives
  • Common money myths about women and money
  • How to build a positive relationship with money and boost confidence to make good financial decisions
  • Creating a spending plan (budget)
  • How to read a payslip
  • Credit, borrowing and credit scores
  • How to access support for debt
  • Keeping your money and identify safe
  • Savings and how to make your money go further
  • Organisations offering free, credible support

This workshop is free of charge. All attendees will receive a free digital copy of The Money Manual. You will never be offered financial products or services during or after this workshop.
