After nearly four years as Chief Executive at Young Women’s Trust, Claire Reindorp has announced that she will be leaving the charity in spring 2026.
Under Claire’s leadership the charity has built a bold new strategy focusing on creating an equal world of work and tackling the injustices that young women face, from job insecurity and sexual harassment, to unequal pay. She has developed and delivered life changing services for thousands of young women. Claire has also been the driving force behind Young Women’s Trust’s renewed focus on social change, with the charity’s increasingly influential research driving impactful campaigns on workplace equality.
Claire has embedded the charity’s values and continued to ensure that young women’s voices and experiences remain the beating heart of the organisation.
The board of trustees are now beginning the recruitment process, with Claire staying in her role until her successor is ready to take the reins. Claire then plans to take a short career break, followed by part-time work for the next stage of her career.
Claire Reindorp said: “It’s been a very difficult decision to leave a charity that is so close to my heart. Young Women’s Trust has been championing young women since the 1860s. But we know the challenges facing young women in 2025 remain huge: they earn a fifth less than young men, many face discrimination in the workplace as well as precarious work.
“I have every confidence that the charity’s fantastic staff, incredibly talented young campaigners, peer researchers and ambassadors and our thousands of supporters, will continue the push for much needed change. I will always be one of those supporters!
“A more equal world of work isn’t just a dream, it’s a reality within our grasp that will transform the lives of this generation of young women and all those to come.”
Emma Norris, Young Women’s Trust Chair, said: “Claire’s impact on the charity has been truly transformational. She has built, led, and is delivering a clear and compelling strategy, navigated the organisation through change and growth, and helped elevate our campaigning voice during a time of significant political shifts. She has also helped shape a team and culture that is both inclusive and purpose-driven. Thanks to her leadership, Young Women’s Trust is in a very strong position for its next CEO to drive forward our mission for young women.”

About Young Women’s Trust
Young Women’s Trust champions young women aged 18 to 30 on low or no pay. We’re here to create a more equal world of work and raise young women’s incomes.
We offer young women free coaching, feedback on job applications and information to help them get where they want to be. We bring together a thousands-strong network to support each other, build their self-belief, and have their voices heard. We work with young women and anyone who experiences misogyny and sexism to campaign for equality in the workplace. And our research provides insight into what young women’s lives are really like, fuelling our campaigns for change.
