Workshop Series

Join our Workshop Series – an online group programme of 3 consecutive workshops, where young women aged 18-30 facing a similar work-related challenge can connect and support each other. Each workshop is hosted via Zoom.


There are three workshop series that you can sign up for:

Navigating Work as Women of Colour 

During this programme – designed and led by and for women of colour – you will build solidarity, share strategies, and find fresh ways of navigating work.  

Dates:  Tuesdays for three weeks: 13th, 20th + 27th January 2026
Time: 12 — 2pm
Duration: 2 hours

What you’ll explore

  • Reflect on your career journey so far, and how your race, identity and values have shaped your path 
  • Understand your rights at work, and how to advocate for yourself when it matters most 
  • Build confidence to show up fully, share your ideas, and trust in the value of your voice 
  • Learn tools to navigate microaggressions, bias, and workplace politics 
  • Identify your non-negotiables, set clearer boundaries, and spot early signs of burnout 
  • Understand the power of diversity of thought, and the value you bring to spaces that weren’t built with you in mind 
  • Share space, stories and strategies with other women of colour navigating their own paths.

Making a Change at Work

Are you feeling stuck at work? Do you want to connect with other young women and experts to help you figure out how to grow in your current role or move on? Our Workshop Series can help! 

Dates: Thursdays for three weeks: 12th, 19th + 26th February 2026 
Time: 6 — 8pm
Duration: 2 hours

What you’ll learn

  • Explore types of different career journeys 
  • Identify the skills and knowledge you have gained from your working experiences 
  • Discover models that help you to identify your passions, strengths, and career goals 
  • Understand the value of networking and develop networking skills 
  • Practical steps to make a change with your work situation

Finding Work

Are you looking for work? Do you want to connect with other young women and experts to help you figure out the next steps with your job search? Our Workshop Series can help! 

Dates:  Thursdays for three weeks: 12th, 19th + 26th March 2026 
Time: 6 — 8pm
Duration: 2 hours

  • Gain clarity on what you want to do for work 
  • Understand what makes a great CV and standout application 
  • Identify and demonstrate transferable skills  
  • Tips to ace your next interview

Why attend Workshop Series

  • You’ll connect in a friendly space with a group of young women in a similar situation. 
  • You’ll learn from engaging speakers. 
  • You’ll break out into small groups to work on activities and share your own reflections, ideas and experiences to help others. 
  • You’ll be encouraged and supported to be yourself. 
  • You’ll come out with actions to support your work journey. 

Who can take part in the Workshop Series? 

Our services are for young women aged 18 to 30 living in England or Wales. If you are a trans woman or identify as non-binary and are comfortable being supported by a women’s service, we’re happy to help you. 

We encourage those who face the biggest challenges with money, jobs, and unpaid work to sign up. This includes working-class women, racially marginalised young women, and disabled young women.
