Working Inclusively With Young Women
Developed by young women and drawing on Young Women’s Trust’s extensive experience of participation and engagement work, our 'Working Inclusively With Young Women' toolkit is aimed at anyone who works with young women – including policymakers, employers, service providers, commissioners and practitioners.
The toolkit, which was developed with support from the Government Equalities Office Women’s Vote centenary Grant Scheme, highlights the enormous benefits of involving young women in decision making, the important things to consider when seeking the views of young women with complex needs and the most effective ways to encourage their meaningful participation.

If you’re a young woman aged 16-30 years from England and Wales, with recent experience of living on low or no pay* click here to learn more about the ways you can get involved.
*This could mean you’re unemployed, in low paid work or insecure work (like zero hours contracts). You might also be a young mum, have caring responsibilities, not have many qualifications, be a care leaver or have experienced other barriers to work.
