Make your 2023 resolutions count

17 January 2023

This new year, make it your resolution to take action and create real change for young women. We have put together 4 ways for you to get involved with Young Women’s Trust in 2023.

Sign our open letter to Parliament

Sign our open letter to lend your voice to our Costing Our Futures campaign. Our open letter was written by Ire Adebayo, a young woman working in social care in Huddersfield who, like thousands of other young women, is struggling to make ends meet.

In our open letter, we are calling on the Prime Minister to meet with young women, hear about the real challenges they face and discuss how the government can act to make a difference to their lives.

Though rewarding, the work I do is well known for being demanding and underpaid. I suffer with anxiety and panic attacks and generally feel stuck in my career. Consequently, I am a living example of what ‘just getting by’ looks like.

Pass it on

If you are looking for a way to thank an important woman in your life this year, you could donate £5 to Young Women’s Trust in her name. Encourage her to do the same and let the thanks pass on and on.
