Leave a gift in your Will

Your guide to leaving a gift in your Will

1. Write a Will 

The correct wording is crucial in any Will, so if you do remember Young Women’s Trust in your Will, or have done so already, please use our registered charity number, 217868. 

You can get in touch with a solicitor to write your Will for you, use a Will writing service or, in some circumstances, even write your own Will. The Money Advice Service offers plenty of free, impartial guidance.

2. Fill out a codicil form

If you already have a Will, you can amend is very easily using a codicil form. If you’d like to leave a gift to Young Women’s Trust, print and fill out this codicil form. Keep it with your Will in a safe place, and send a copy to your executor. Print your codicil form >

3. If you want, let us know 

The decision to leave a gift in your Will is personal and private. If you choose to tell us your intentions, we’ll treat them with the utmost confidence.

You’re under no obligation to tell us if you’ve chosen to leave a gift to Young Women’s Trust and even if you do, you can of course change your Will at any time.
