Write to your MP

IMG 9982We want MPs to read our report, quote our findings in meetings, sign our ‘Early Day Motion’ about women apprentices, spread the word and use their influence to change things in their local area.

We want MPs from all over the country and from all political parties to get involved and make some noise about our campaign. That’s where you come in!

To write to your MP, first you need to:

  1. Find out who your MP is, what constituency you’re in and their address theyworkforyou.com or findyourmp.parliament.uk/commons
  2. Then, download our template letter here, add in their details and send it off by post or email!

Your MP is even more likely to respond if you personalise your letter so you might also like to include your own thoughts or experiences of apprenticeships (if you have any) and why you think this campaign is important.

If you would like to set up a meeting with your MP we can help you prepare and come along with you. In the template letter make sure you keep in the section about wanting to meet.

Don’t forget to tell us who you have written to – email us at mark.gale@youngwomenstrust.org
