What is campaigning?
Campaigning can be described as organised actions around specific issues that aim to bring about changes in the policies and behaviours of institutions and/or specific public groups. For example the Suffragettes successfully campaigned for the Government to give women the vote over 100 years ago.
It can also be called lobbying, activism, advocacy, influencing, protesting (etc.) but all of these things are about how people achieve the change they want to see in the world.
