Including salary details in job adverts would make pay more transparent and would make it harder for employers to pay men and women different amounts for similar roles, helping to reduce illegal gender pay gaps.

We're calling for employers to stop asking job applicants how much they earn and include salary details in adverts to help close the gender pay gap.
