What story will Deborah be telling?

Jen, whose story you will hear in the appeal, lost her minimum wage job and was not able to afford her rent. She lost her confidence and became depressed, feeling like she was in ‘a black hole, unable to get out’; without anyone to talk to or help her.

We connected Jen with, Denise, an employment coach, who helped her feel more confident and ready for work. For many young women like Jen this support is a lifeline: transforming their confidence, improving their job applications and enabling them to get a job.
